Who we are
WattFund Ltd. operates the WattFund marketplace, which connects energy project owners, investors and service providers. This policy describes the categories of personal data the platform is expected to process and the intended basis for doing so.
Data we collect
The platform is designed to collect only what an account needs to function.
- Account data: name, work email, organisation and role.
- Profile data: investment mandate, project details or service capability, depending on account type.
- Interaction data: opportunities viewed, interests registered and information requests raised.
- Technical data: device, browser and session information needed to keep the service secure.
How data is used
Data is used to operate accounts, match relevant opportunities to stated mandates, administer information requests between parties and maintain the security of the platform.
WattFund does not sell personal data. Project and investor identities are only shared between counterparties when a user chooses to share them.
Retention and your rights
Personal data is intended to be retained for as long as an account is active, and thereafter only where a record is required. Users are expected to have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability in respect of their data.
Requests relating to personal data can be sent to hello@wattfund.com.
