How WattFund service opportunities work
Service opportunities on WattFund are structured requirements: costing, design, installation or specialist work against a project brief. Providers see relevant work. WattFund does not sell ranking and does not guarantee that a proposal will win.

What a service opportunity is
When a project needs expertise or a delivery estimate, that need is stated as a requirement. Relevant providers can review a teaser, unlock fuller detail where appropriate, and submit a structured proposal.
What it is not
It is not a bought list of leads, not a ranked directory, and not WattFund pricing the job. Public examples of opportunity style are illustrative unless a live requirement says otherwise.
How relevance is meant to work
Providers build a capability profile — technology, region, services. Visibility follows that profile. WattFund reviews briefs and profiles; review is not a guarantee of work, fees or delivery.
Owners and providers meet at the brief
Owners do not need to shop a vague enquiry around the market. Providers do not need to reverse-engineer a site from a one-line email. The brief should still label unknowns rather than invent a specification.
Direct answer
Do providers pay for placement? WattFund does not sell ranked placement. Registration is how you show capability. Work is not guaranteed.
